The credentials stored in an RDP file only work on the computer where the credentials were originally saved, so I can't just copy the RDP files from oneĬomputer to another.

The problem I have is that on my new Windows 10 computer, I can't get this behaviour. When I open them for editing, it still says "The credentials in the RDP file currently in On the ones which I upgraded from windows 7, the RDP files from windows 7 files still work. I now have three computers running windows 10.

Only allowed one username+password to be saved for each remote computer, and I need to use several different login credentials for different aspects of the remote server. This was necessary, because the credential manager

On Windows 7, I was able to save my usernames and passwords for the remote server in the RDP file itself, rather than via the credential manager.
